The Pierce Impel and Pierce Velocity are custom fire apparatus chassis built by Pierce Manufacturing, and were introduced in 2006.

The Impel and Velocity are designed with identical structures and share many of the same features but the Impel is built as a medium-duty chassis, whereas the Velocity is built as a heavy-duty chassis. The early models of the Velocity & Impel were known for their large, protruding front mirrors (nicknamed 'bus mirrors', due to their resemblance to some school buses). Eventually, Pierce also began offering more conventional-style mirrors.
In the early 2010s, Pierce redesigned the raised roof of the Impel and Velocity with a new "forward roof" design. This allowed for additional headroom inside the cab.
