The UH-1H, also known as the Super Huey, is a helicopter used by fire services. The UH-1H is used in a variety of roles ranging from search-and-rescue to medivac to fire suppression.

The UH-1H was one of the most produced military helicopters in history. A large number of these helicopters became available as surplus. Their reliability and payload capacity made them prime choices for conversion to firefighting use.
