The Invader was a custom chassis built by Seagrave Fire Apparatus. The Invader was based on the MB, several of which were delivered to the United States Navy in 1978 and 79. The Invader was a civilian version of this truck and offered more options. It was introduced in 1983 and forty were delivered. Philadelphia Fire Department was a major customer with 15.
