In 1991, Sarnia was amalgamated with the adjoining Town of Clearwater, merging the Clearwater Fire Department with the Sarnia force. Current stations 4 and 5 were originally Clearwater stations.

Future plansEdit

  • After two years, City Council opted to refurbish the Scott Road fire station instead of building a new one.
  • The City has also raised the possibility of the reconstruction of No. 3 Station on Colborne Road. However, there are no formal plans or funding.
