Future plans
The Emsdale fire hall was emptied in 2015, after staff determined that the building had too many issues to warrant repair. The fire department is temporarily located in the Township Works Garage. In November 2016, Council unveiled the design for a combination new fire station / community centre to be located on Old Government Road.
