History[]
Maidstone Township was located east of Windsor along the south shore of Lake St. Clair. In 1998, Maidstone was amalgamated with Belle River, Rochester Township and Tilbury West Township to form the Town of Lakeshore and the township fire department became part of Lakeshore Fire Rescue.
