HistoryEdit

From its founding in 1854 to 1916, Kitchener was known as Berlin. Its name was changed during the First World War in honour of the British Field Marshal, Horatio Herbert Kitchener.

These pumpers will have a minimum 2273 L (500 IG) water tank and an addition of a 136 L (30 IG) foam cell. Once delivered and placed into service, unit 4528 will be retired and unit 4532 will be kept as a spare.
