Portions of Douro-Dummer are covered by the Selwyn Fire Department via an automatic aid agreement.
History
Douro-Dummer Township was formed in 1998 through the amalgamation of Douro Township and Dummer Township. Each of the townships operated its own fire department, namely the Douro Township Fire Department and Dummer Township Fire Department.
