Dependable Emergency Vehicles is a fire apparatus manufacturer and dealer located in Brampton, Ontario.

HistoryEdit

Dependable Emergency Vehicles was formed in 1980 as a division of Dependable Truck and Tank. Prior to 1980 the company only built fuel, water and other bulk liquid trucks. Dependable continues to build fire trucks, fuel, water and propane trucks today.

Dependable is also the Canadian dealer for HME Ahrens-Fox.

ProductionEdit

Dependable builds pumpers, mini-pumpers, tankers and rescue trucks on both custom and commercial chassis. Most deliveries have been to Ontario departments, but Dependable has also delivered trucks to Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia. Major customers include Toronto Fire Services, Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services, Brampton Fire and Emergency Services and Caledon Fire and Emergency Services.
