History[]
Cardiff Township Fire Department was formed in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Previously, it was covered by the Bicroft Township Fire Department and Monmouth Township Fire Department. In 2001, Cardiff Township was amalgamated with Bicroft and Monmouth, and the fire department became part of Highlands East Fire Department.
