Overview[]

The Bozrah Volunteer Fire Company, the formal name of the Bozrah Fire Department, serves Bozrah, Connecticut. Organized in 1950, this all-volunteer department serves a rural community of 2,500 located 35 miles southeast of Hartford. Target hazards include a busy freeway, large areas of forest and farmland, and multiple campgrounds that attract people from outside the immediate areas in the summer months.
