History[]
Anderdon Township was located in Essex County and surrounded the Town of Amherstburg. In 1998, Anderdon was amalgamated with Amherstburg and Malden Township to form an expanded Town of Amherstburg. The fire department became part of the Amherstburg Fire Department.
