History

Alnwick-Haldimand Township was formed in 2001 through the amalgamation of the Townships of Alnwick and Haldimand. Each municipality had its own fire department, namely the Alnwick Township Fire Department in Roseneath and the Haldimand Township Fire Department in Grafton and Centreton.

Future Plans

The new fire hall that has been proposed for Roseneath will now be a joint facility with Northumberland Paramedic Service. Land was purchased for the new facility at the north side of County Road 45 at the intersection of Halstead Road and construction started in August 2017.
